A year passed since people of Bengal were badly hit by Cyclone Amphan, and another cyclone hits the south of Bengal with devastating effects on the people living in islands of Sunderban.

May 29, 2021: Gosaba, Sundarban
We have initiated our relief work in Sunderban. There are more than 120 people who have taken shelter in Emmanuel Hostel in Gosaba, an orphanage by our volunteer Soumen Naskar.

June 12, 2021: Gosaba, Sunderban
As you are aware, few days back we lost our volunteer Sudip due to Covid To honor his services for the society, we have opened up an oxygen bank in Sunderban named “Sobar Pashe Sudip” after him.

June 13, 2021: Mousuni Island
150 ration kits in Mousuni island, the worst hit area after YAAS. The team ventured at 5am in the morning and returned at 8:30pm. Yet they ensure every one smiles after the end of the day.

June 14, 2021: Heramba Gopalpur
We had most of our members unavailable, yet the available ones were deterred to reach out to every nook and corner where they required relief.
The team ensured that rain, hardships and lack of full team availability did not slow down our process of reaching the remotest village of Heramba Gopalpur, instead for the first time we had done 4 events in one weekend.
Thanks also to our partners UPAJ India for standing rock solid with us in this drive in Heramba Gopalpur where we helped 100 families

June 20, 2021: Dakshin Durgapur, Namkhana
While the world celebrated father’s day, we ensured that every father at Dakshin Durgapur, Namkhana smiles because their ration is secured for a fortnight. 500 families got their share of ration as lot of their livelihood is lost post Yaas waterlogging.
We could reach out to this remote village in Namkhana and thanks to the local volunteers Prasenjit and his friends and family, we could ensure that we spread smiles throughout.

July 4, 2021: Bholakhali, Sandeshkhali
530 ration packets and hygiene kits were distributed to the underprivileged people of Bholakhali, Sandeshkhali area.
